Polaroid wants Fujifilm to pay royalties for using white frame on instant film:

Polaroid have decided to take Fujifilm to pay millions of dollars in royalties, and company is accusing the Japanese brand of using in its Instax line the traditional white frame popularized by Polaroid instant cameras.

According to News from The Verge, The Company Fujifilm has lodged a complaint with the US District Court in New York, company Fujifilm says that it only sold the Instax film in rectangular format with sizes ranging from small postcards to business cards.

After that Company said in its letter that Polaroid will do a trying to monetize what was left of the company’s intellectual property portfolio after failing to make a profit from selling its own products.
