Nubank’s rewards program now also features iFood:
Nubank announced last week about the iFood as the newest partner in its rewards program, Rewards, originally launched in August by Brazilian fintech with partners such as Uber, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify and Deezer.
Under the partnership with new partners, users of the Nubank card can erase from their invoice the orders made in the food delivery app, which is provided that they have values between 30 and 70 reais. Nubank Rewards every 1 real spend equals 1 point, but for anyone ordering at iFood during lunch (10am to 4pm), you will be entitled to 5 points for every 1 real spend.
The companies point out that, if user wants to increase its point he/she have to pay online through Nubank card, this is the only way to increase the points. This way, payments made in person to the establishment will not be counted in the list of purchases that can be erased.
Rewards are optional with fixed cost, unlike the company card, which has no annuity. To use the program, user must have to pay 190 reais a year – or 19 reais a month.
