LG's handset should be one of the center of attention during the Barcelona event, which will not have the new Galaxy S this year.
With Samsung having revealed that it will not host the highly anticipated Galaxy S8 next month during the Mobile World Congress, LG has everything to steal the spotlight at the event with its LG G6, which will be announced during the event in Barcelona on 26 February. And this week came the supposedly first G6 image, which was obtained and published by The Verge (see above). As expected, the device has narrower edges than its predecessor, the G5, and a 5.7-inch Quad HD LCD screen with a super-wide ratio of 2:1. According to The Verge, the G6 will dispense with the modular bottom part that did not work very well on the G5, preferring to focus instead on impressing users with an all-glass design.
In addition, the device must maintain the 3.5mm headphone jack and the G5 two-camera setup and the fingerprint scanner, as well as being waterproof.
Why does it matter?
Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the image published by The Verge suggests that the LG G6 will tinker with the market.
