Virtual controller Hikari says good morning, speaks the weather forecast, turns out the lights and sends a message to the user

One company has generated controversy in Japan by creating a kind of virtual wife for lonely men.

The creation of the Japanese Vinclu has not yet hit the market, but its presentation video has sparked mixed opinions. For some, the virtual wife goes too far.

Named Hikari, the product is nothing more than a hologram projection of a woman whose virtual assistant functions like Siri, Cortana and Alexa already deliver. The projection says good morning, speaks the weather forecast, turns out the lights and sends a message to the user.

The company argues that it is a product that can help Japanese people suffering from loneliness and depression, but others believe they further strengthen the problem.

The virtual control should reach the market only at the end of next year and the price forecast exceeds  $ 9 thousands.
